Anxiety

Anxiety can manifest differently for everyone and be difficult to put into words. It may feel as though your mind is constantly looking for danger and anticipating the worst. It may involve persistent rumination, replaying conversations, agonising over various “what-if” scenarios, or becoming fixated on both past and future worries. You may simply experience a constant undercurrent of worry that is hard to explain or make sense of. Physically, anxiety can lead to sleep disturbances, headaches, and muscle tension or pain, and over time, it can significantly affect your ability to engage fully in everyday life.

In counselling, we’ll explore what’s driving your anxiety and develop strategies tailored to you and your lifestyle. Alongside practical tools you can use in the moment, we’ll also work together to better understand your triggers and recurring patterns. The goal isn’t to eliminate anxiety completely, but to help you feel more grounded, capable, and in control.
